About FoundersBoxx

The honest truth

We built FoundersBoxx because we were sick of wasting our time on operational bullshit instead of building our products.

Every founder knows this pain: You start a company to create something meaningful, but end up drowning in spreadsheets, investor questions, and team management puzzles that existing tools make more complicated, not less.

After burning too many late nights on these problems ourselves, we decided to fix them once and for all.

What we actually built

FoundersBoxx is the operational toolkit we wish we had from day one:

  • Money Stuff: Track burn, forecast runway, and understand your finances without needing to be a CFO
  • Investor Stuff: Manage your cap table and keep investors updated without the stress
  • Team Stuff: Handle the human side of your business without drowning in paperwork

Nothing more, nothing less. Just the tools that actually matter when running a startup.

How we think about this

We have strong opinions about startup tools:

  • Most startup tools are overcomplicated because they’re built by people who never ran a startup
  • Your time is better spent on product and customers than figuring out complex operational systems
  • Good tools should solve problems, not create them by forcing you into rigid workflows

Our small team has founded and operated startups ourselves. We’ve felt the pain directly, and that shapes everything we build.

A personal note

I started FoundersBoxx after my third startup because I kept facing the same operational headaches over and over. The fancy tools on the market either did way too much or solved the wrong problems entirely.

We’re a small, bootstrapped team because we believe in building sustainable businesses. We charge fair prices because we provide real value, and we’re building for the long term.

If any of this resonates with you, we’d love to have you try FoundersBoxx. And if you have thoughts on how we could make it better for founders like us, my inbox is always open.
